Chocolate Dipped Cones

Sometimes you need to add a little pizazz to an old favorite. Chocolate Dipped Cones helps you do that with little to no effort. When the weather is hot and you need something cold, ice-cream is the fastest dessert out there....and oh so fitting for summer time.

Chocolate dipped cones are pleasing to all ages. They taste great, and look beautiful. Chocolate Dipped Cones add a little flair to a good ole fashioned summer treat. Make these on your own, or make it a fun activity for you and your little ones to do together. Use any kind of sprinkles you want! Whatever suits your party theme. Pastels, Rainbow Stars, Confetti, Pearls, Mini Chocolate Chips. The possibilities are endless.

Chocolate Dipped Cones are so simple, yet make all the difference in presentation....and taste.

Chocolate Dipped Cones

-Sugar Cones
-Chocolate Chips

-Melt chocolate chips in a small bowl in the microwave.
-Dip open end of one cone into the melted chocolate.
-Let excess drip off into bowl of chocolate. If necessary, use a butter knife to scrape the
 excess chocolate out of the inside of the opening of the cone.
-Sprinkle the sprinkles of your choice over top the melted chocolate.
-Once you have coated the chocolate with desired sprinkles, set the cone open side down
 onto a wax paper covered cookie sheet.
-Repeat process until all cones are decorated.
-Transfer cookie sheet full of chocolate dipped cones to a safe place at room temp for an
 hour or so until hardened.
-When ready to use, serve chocolate dipped cones with ice-cream.
-Store extra chocolate dipped cones in a Ziploc bag.
