Warm Pesto Cheese Spread

Warm Pesto Cheese Spread is the fastest, most delicious, and PERFECT appetizer for your next party or gathering. I first tried this at my friend Dottie's house. Her neighbor, Diane, had brought it over for the football game watching party. One bite and I just knew that I needed to get the recipe. The Pesto Cheese Spread's rich and bold flavor is amazing spread on crackers.

I was delighted when Diane shared her recipe with me, and even more so when I found out how easy it was! So simple, yet no one would ever know it is just a "toss together" type of appetizer.

A week or so later I served it at a ladies football party and we all devoured it. Believe me, this is a MUST to make:)

Here it is folks! Make this for your holiday party, or the next football watching party. You will have everyone asking for the recipe.

Warm Pesto Cheese Spread

1 regular sized package of cream cheese - about room temp
3/4 cup seeded and diced tomato
1/2-3/4 tsp garlic powder
5 oz - Pesto - ( I used 1/2 jar of 10oz Flora brand)
1/3 cup Four-Cheese shredded cheese (or enough tot cover the top)

Pictures of steps to follow.
-Preheat oven 350
-In oven safe dish place cream cheese in center
-Dust the garlic powder over the top of  the cream cheese
-Spread the pesto approximately 1/2 inch think over the top of the cream cheese
-Sprinkle the tomatoes over the top of the pesto. (Some may fall to side and pesto may
start running off the sides. This is OK)
-Cover everything with the four-cheese shredded cheese
-Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted good.
-Serve warm.
-Set out with knife so people can spread on their crackers.
