Eggnog Coffee

Leftover Eggnog? Try pouring a splash of it in your morning coffee! No cream or sugar needed. Dan's Aunt and Uncle were visiting and we ran out of creamer. His Uncle suggested the use of eggnog.

Give Eggnog Coffee a try! Eggnog itself is just too thick for my liking. I have never enjoyed drinking it straight. It's like drinking heavy whipping cream. I just can't justify how many calories are sliding down the hatch. In coffee though, used as a creamer, it is perfect!

I am not a creamer person... Let me restate that... My plump behind and "sturdy" thighs do not allow me to indulge in creamer on a regular basis. Therefor, to prevent unwanted growth, I drink my cup-o-joe straight up. The blacker the better. Thick, strong, take it out of your cup - stretch it and put it back type of coffee....Diesel fuel.

But! Curiosity killed the cat...and has also put a temporary kink in my New Years diet and exercise plan. This stuff is gooooood. I suppose I can always press the restart button on the elliptical as soon as the 1/2 gallon of eggnog in my fridge is gone. Until then I will live in stretchy yoga pants and enjoy every sip!

If you don't have any leftover, you can probably find it on sale now that Christmas is over. I found my 1/2 gallon eggnog at the grocery store on clearance for 99 cents! Yippee!! Eggnog supplies the right amount of sweetness for my personal taste, but if you are needing a bit more, slip a little sugar or Splenda in there:)
