Kaela's Christmas Craze continues! Below is a picture of the recipe I found in my Real Simple Magazine for Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies. If any of you know me personally, I am a very frugal individual. I very rarely purchase magazines for entertainment. Though I absolutely love looking at many different magazines, I just can't justify the cost of them unless I am traveling across the country as passenger by car. (This usually does happen once a year.)
Welp, I broke down last year when I was planning my wedding and bought one Real Simple Magazine. It was the wedding edition. To my surprise there was a 1 yr subscription with the purchase of the single magazine. What a treat!!
I always get so excited when it comes in the mail as this is the one and only magazine that comes to me. The other day I was informed that my subscription is running out. Boo-hoo:( But I have kept all of my other ones and I am going to clip all of the recipes out of them. There are so many delicious looking ones! And.......I may just break down and take the $12 Subscriber Rate so I don't go through withdrawals.....We will see.
For now, here is the delicious and simple recipe from Real Simple for the Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies. These were a hit in the locker room, with myself, Dan, sister Jenna, Dan's visiting family,...pretty much anyone who gave them a whirl! I also froze some and served later and they were still great! Pop these easy and delicious cookies on your Christmas Baking Tray. I had some delicious truffles that decided to melt together so I chopped a chunk off of that, melted it in the microwave, and dipped the cookie in it. I then sprinkled just a tinch of Sea Salt over the chocolate to create a sweet and salty pairing. These cookies are great with or without the chocolate addition.
