Creamy Tomato Soup


Creamy Tomato Soup


32 oz canned diced tomotes
9 oz chicken broth
1oz butter (approx 3 TBS)
2 TBS sugar
2 TBS Chopped Onion
1 clove of garlic minced
Pinch of baking soda
2 cups heaving whipping cream (1pint)
Salt and Pepper
Mix Tomatoes, Chicken Broth, Butter, Sugar, Onions, Garlic, and Soda. Simmer for 1 hour covered.
Add salt and pepper to taste
Heat cream in double boiler or low heat
Add cream to hot tomato mixture slowly stirring in.
Makes approx 1/2 gallon
